I was told not to wear my jacket skinning up hill, but.....the pit zips kept me well ventilated and I perspired only under my backpack. Zipped them up, came down from Sam's and wasn't chilled at all! I look forward to some spring skiing in the best jacket I have ever owned.
Great. Warm on a 10 degree day with just a base layer.
It’s pretty well thought out. My improvement would be to make the zipper two-way, able to open at the bottom for a better experience when sitting down on a chair or in a gondola.
I just revamped my mountain attire and couldn't be happier and more excited about this jacket. It is incredibly warm, fits perfectly, and stands out. BIG props to the Strafe team for designing and quickly delivering such a great product. Strafe's customer service is second to none. Give them a call to see what is the best fit for your mountain sports. Yew!
This jacket is super sick. Insulation like you’ve never seen, a breathable liner that’s super soft and it’s not overly heavy for the amount of insulation. Great for really cold days but just as enjoyable for warmer spring days with a t-shirt underneath. Would recommend to anyone who spends long days in the mountains.
