Keeps me warmer than any ski coat I’ve ever had. My resort is Alyeska and I ski all mountain. I like a long coat not too tight, for layers. Great pit zips for temp management when doing TNF, easy to zip up and be warmer doing fast groomers. Love the longer length. I’m 65”, 135 lbs and I’m very happy with the L. A Med would be fine if I didn’t want to layer. Nice technical features, hood goes over my helmet well, good placement of chest pocket, ticket pocket on the Left forearm. Could have stronger magnets for the chin closure, and a little more overlap and a larger strip of soft fabric there, so it would lay down more smoothly; I find myself fiddling with the chin overlap a bit too much. My only serious dislike is the boring colors. More colors please, purple heather? Would buy another, best coat I’ve ever had.
Very Warm, comfortable and Stylish
I typically stay away from insulated jackets, because I don't love the way I look in them, but I tried on the Castle and FELL IN LOVE. The length is perfect. The fit is flattering. The material feels oh so nice. But most importantly, it is a seriously technical jacket. I stay bone dry and warm on storm days in the resort- even when I'm sitting on the lift (this is a first for me). Well done on the design and execution!
