Trim fit, but loose enough for layering and movement
Not too tight, not too loose. Fits comfortably over base and mid-layers without restricting movement
Roomier and more progressive, relaxed styles fit a wide variety of shapes and sizes
Our award winning SCARLETT BIB is one of a kind. We’ve spent countless hours refining the fit to be completely unrestricting and complimentary of any shape and size. The unique halter-top design, with a super soft strap and lightweight fabric, is nearly undetectable; combined with the side zip and a stretch back panel, the special bib allows for easy exposure without having to remove your jacket every time you need to...you know...go. Made from breathable, fully waterproof, and velvety soft 3L eVent® fabric, these bibs will perform equally well on the resort as they do during long days of touring.

Awesome Loved everything
Thanks for the review, Helan!
Bibs are great, super comfortable, great pockets, and easy access.
Thanks for the review, Ellen!
The around-the-neck suspender pulls on my neck and shoulders after a while and causes fatigue. I fixed this by connecting it to the label inside the back of the pants with a strap, but a redesign would help a lot! Also, the pant only drops down on one side. Men must have designed these because I can’t *** out the side of my pants and so I have to take the suspender over my head to pull the pants down- not ideal in the backcountry. Please make both sides drop and I will gladly buy another pair! Or send a zipper all the way underneath the crotch. Otherwise, the material, pockets and fit are great.
Hey Kathy, The bib feature is actually specifically designed by women for the purpose of having to...well...relieve yourself more easily than in other bib pants! The stretchiness of the halter should allow you to pull down on the garment, once the side zipper is unzipped, so much so that you can squat and take care of business without having to remove any clothing from your waist up. We upgraded the halter strap for next year to include another band across the back to prevent any wearing on your neck. It's possible that the bib pant you received has a manufacturing error and that the strap isn't as stretchy as it is intended to be. I'd love to discuss this further with you to see if we can find a solution. Let's continue this conversation over at firstname.lastname@example.org. Send us an email and we will work with you!
I really love this pant. The material is very comfy and seems to be pretty durable so far. The pant is also pretty stretchy. I’ve been holding off on buying new ski pants - I run cold and am very picky when it comes to being comfy in my outdoor gear. If you are spending multiple days them you should absolutely love them. At least that’s my motto. I’m 5’4 and vary between 125-130lbs depending on the amount of beers had. I was between the XS and the S. I ended up getting the Small, although I feel that there is a lot of extra room in these. The XS fit pretty good although the pant leg length was smaller making it a tighter fit in the crotch. Unfortunately, I have only used these pants a couple of times before I blew out my knee for the rest of ski season. I am excited to bring them out brand new next year.
Heal up soon! Best wishes for a great 21/22 season in your Scarlett Bibs!
This is my second season in these pants and I just cannot wear them at all when it is snowing out. The "waterproof" or the 3L eVent® fabric that it is made with is useless. Not only has the fabric torn in multiple small areas, but I wear them resort skiing and they soak through on the front and back. I live in Colorado where it is typically dry, but I find myself very very wet when I ski during storms. My long underwear gets soaked through. If I go inside out of the snow they do dry fairly quickly, but everything underneath is still/already soaked. Pants this expensive should work better and do their only job - keep me DRY!!! I also think that the halter strap is very uncomfortable, especially if you have anything at all in the chest pocket. This drags it down and hurts my neck. I thought these would work so much better than other brands I tried on that didn't fit me right. Overall I have been super disappointed with this product. Ski pants should last longer and keep you dry and comfortable for days in the mountains.
