      I love pullovers

The title says it all. I love pullover jackets for resort or backcountry snow sports. They always seem to sit better across my waist and I've never been bothered by the extra step of pulling them off, provided they're a stretchy material. I've used an Outdoor Research softshell pullover for fair weather touring for a while now and have been on the lookout for a hardshell pullover top for the cold/wet/windy days when the softshell won't cut it. Having owned a pair of cham pants (recently replaced with the updated bibs after 4 years of hard service) I was stoked to try the Cham pullover. I've only used it once so far on a day of doing laps on a smaller hill. Temps were in the mid to high 20s and I wore only this with a 150 wt merino baselayer underneath. With good use of vents on the pullover and my baselayer I was perfectly comfortable the whole time up and down and never felt the need to take the top off. Breathability is definitely above my resort hardshell (TNF futurelight) and I'm excited to put it to use on some good, long tours coming up. The top is quite easy to take on/off due to the stretch in the fabric and I definitely don't miss having pit zips. In regards to fit, I'm 5'11", 190lbs, athletic build. Size L is perfect length torso and arms and the cut through the body trends more "freeride" than "euro" though is certainly not overly baggy.
