Our recommendation is to seek out our specialty retail partners in Canada, Europe, and Japan to ensure the best experience. See Store Locator.
We have three different primary fits: relaxed, standard, and athletic. We also offer unisex fits on certain products. Fits vary, and change from year to year as we improve our products. To ensure the best experience, we recommend trying on Strafe product at your local retail partner.
Additionally, if trying on product at home, we recommend trying on product with your full skiing or snowboarding outfit - even if it feels silly. Trying your gear on with your standard base- and mid-layers and accessories (ski boots, gloves, helmet and googles, and even backpack), will help you understand the Strafe fits, which are designed and developed to be activity-specific.
Most of the technical product information is included on our product description pages. For additional information or questions, please reach out to us.
Product weights are for Women's size Small and Men's size Medium unless otherwise specified.
We can accept returns for a full refund within 30 days of receiving your order. You can return your product for a refund to the original payment method.
Strafe stands behind the performance and quality of all our products. All Strafe products are covered by Strafe warranty against manufacturer and material defects for two years. Following, examination, qualifying products will be repaired or replaced at Strafe's discretion. To extend the lifespan of your products, Strafe offers repairs for any products not covered by warranty.
For more information and instructions to submit a claim, please visit our warranty page.
Strafe believes in minimizing consumption and the long-term utility of our products, even if they are out of the warranty period. Strafe offers low-cost repairs in-house or through a partner, depending on the repair level, to extend your product lifespan. Please getin touch with photos ready and we'll see what options may be available to you.
While we strive to return repairs in a timely manner, repairs typically take 4-6 weeks depending on the time of year, product or material availability, and repair level. Please plan ahead and realize we are a small team doing our best to get you back out there as soon as possible, minimizing your time without your gear.
With proper garment care, you'll see longer and better performance from your Strafe product. Follow the instructions below to wash and store your gear, and stay looking fresh season after season.
WASHING: We recommend washing in cold water (if your gear is really dirty, wash it in warm water) on gentle cycle with a detergent that is specifically made for outerwear. Close all zippers and loosen any draw-cords. Never use normal liquid detergent or hot water, as both can destroy the membrane and the glue that holds the seam tape. We recommend Grangers, which has a wide range of products for all types of technical gear.
DRYING: Either hang to dry or, to reinvigorate the product's DWR, place it in the dryer on low for about 10 minutes and then hang dry. Never dry on high or for very long as you will destroy the seam glue and your garment.
STORAGE:Hang clean outerwear in a closet. Avoid putting your hard-shells in plastic bins and suffocating your insulators by leaving them squashed in a bag somewhere.
