Designed with special considerations for backcountry touring, the award-winning Cham Pant is new and improved. Using the new lightweight and ultra air-permeable 4-way stretch 3L Schoeller® Aerobrane™ fabric, we added a minimalistic 1/2 bib to keep snow and wind at bay. The bib is constructed to accommodate various body types while also improving comfort when wearing a backpack or harness. The overall fit has been updated to be more streamlined and articulated, and the re-designed extra tall scuff guards provide additional durability. Bring the Cham Pant for comfortable, unrestricted motion on swift ascents and descents anywhere from international mountain objectives to everyday touring.
Plus, with neutral colors and a gender graded size scale, we’re extra proud to make this iteration of Cham unisex fit. Please check the size guide.

Excellent fit, stretchy and breathable as advertised. Love the Navy with white zippers. Worth every penny.
I have loved these pants. I needed to replace my Arcteryx Procline pants which were previously my favorite pant after a run in with a particularly bad bushwhack. Enter the Cham pant. They are so breathable. I am someone who usually tours in a sun hoody or a t shirt. Only in temps lower than 5 f will you find me in a jacket. These pants have been so breathable, and keep me cool even on zone 3 hr tours. I have recently skied them in some deep pow days and have never had them wet through. My only complaint with them is the bib. Its not bad or terrible. I just find myself using my pack belt to keep the bibs from sliding around weirdly. I am 6'1", 175 and have ski tourer thighs, these fit nicely, not tight like euro pants but still athletic.
Very good, good fit
As someone that loves to play on snow and ice, hardshell pants are an essential component of my winter layering system. However, it can be hard to find a quiver of one that spans the different demands of ski mountaineering and ice climbing. At this, the Cham pant excels. The Schoeller Aerobrane material is impressively waterproof despite being lightweight and about as breathable as hardshell gets. Also, I normally swear by softshells for higher output tours, but I found myself in the Cham pants with hamstring vents open well into spring. On glaciated terrain, the streamlined belt played well with a harness, and large pockets kept the essentials close at hand for long pushes on a rope team. Also, the Cham pant is a great pairing with full zip puffy pants for colder nights on the ice. All in all a great pair of pants for anything that winter has to offer.
I can’t recommend these pants to anyone who spends time near trees, rocks, or that wears crampons. I managed to shred these pants in less than a dozen uses. It’s great that they are lightweight, but in no way what so ever are they durable.
