    buttery + perfect

It’s buttery soft and somehow still waterproof. It’s surprisingly easy to take on and off for being a pullover. Love the pockets so far, and the hood is comfortable enough to wear up while touring. I’m 5’8.5 and got a size small - perfect length on sleeves and body with room for a puffy underneath. It fits perfectly. My dog is 8 lbs and the front pocket fits him perfectly too. 10/10 from both of us.

    Weather Proof

This jacket has withstood one of the best tests for waterproof limits, a Coast Mountain Pineapple Storm. There is nothing wetter besides full immersion and this coat kept the weather out. I think that the the lack of uncovered zippers helped greatly. I really like that the hood stays put over my helmet while at the same time the jacket's length is sufficient to cover you back assets. One of the best things about the jacket is the kangaroo pocket, big enough to fit a small collapsible water bottle and a snack if you don't feel like skiing with a pack. For the days with a pack on it fits comfortably and smoothly underneath.

    Out with the Old

At first I was hesitant to get this jacket and switch from a more traditional full zip shell... change is hard. But then I started thinking of all the potential benefits of the pull over and decided to send it, I’m so glad I did! I was worried about the ease of getting it on and off but the full length side zip makes that a non-issue, it’s just as easy to get on and off as a traditional front zip- I can fit it over my helmet no problem. The side zip also makes an improved pit-zip vent so I can regulate my temp on the skin track and spend way less time messing with layers. The pull over also allows for a large kangaroo pocket in front that is perfect for storing gloves or small layers as you get hot on the way up, and big enough even for quick skin storage on the way down. I also love that there is an electronics pocket with a little hole for your headphones to go through so they can be on the inside to reach your ears, this is so clutch! Also this is the first jacket I’ve ever had that the wrists fit easily over my gloves, I don’t have to ask my partner to help me like a 5 year old anymore. It’s a little longer than jackets I’m used to and I think runs on the bigger side. I’m 5’3” and rock and XS and I wouldn’t go any bigger. Overall I’m psyched on this jacket, it’s the little details that make it stand out to me, plus it’s fun to switch it up and try something new!
