United StatesThese bibs kick butt! Waterproof but light in weight. I wear them every day hiking or riding chairlifts. Sunshine, Freezing rain, or Pow they really do it all. I like the chest pocket for a beacon and the double pocket on the right thigh for keeping my phone separate from other goodies I might be carrying.
United StatesI've skied in the Nomad bib pant for years. It's been my go-to for working in snow. After a recent injury I downsized to medium. It fits me excellently like a medium/long. (6' and lanky) the new eVent fabric is lightweight and bomber. Pockets are excellent as is ventilation. Best bib pant in snowsport!
The Nomad bib is a perfect pant for all your skiing endeavors. I wore this pant during long snowy ski days on the resort, to a week long touring fiesta in the Sierras. I stayed dry and comfortable on the resort and cool while touring. Plenty of pockets for snacks/other goodies and great durability around the cuff to protect from edges. If you are looking for one pant to cover you for all your skiing needs, I highly suggest the Nomad Bib!

United StatesI did an extensive search for the best bibs in January 2023. I tried on 7 different bibs from leading brands, of which only 3 did not have fatal flaws. So many factors to consider. Foremost, fly access for ease of urination, mobility and range of motion, durability, waterproofness, breathability, well endowed pockets, pocket zippers that will not abrade your hand when cold, security of the cuff against the boot, and style. The Strafe nomad excels at most of these. Great pockets, great big front zipper that opens from both directions, great range of motion. The only area for improvement I noticed was the boot interface. The snowpants really flare out. More adjustability to tighten the exterior cuff around the boots would be nice. Also the interior elastic might be a little loose if interfacing with hiking shoes rather than ski boots. Also no anchor points to attach the pant cuff to shoes. I am 5'11" and 165 lbs with a 30" inseam. The mediums fit well, although I would like the leg inseam to be 1-2" shorter, since I have to exercise care to not get the pant caught in my ski binding.
