Trim fit, but loose enough for layering and movement
Not too tight, not too loose. Fits comfortably over base and mid-layers without restricting movement
Roomier and more progressive, relaxed styles fit a wide variety of shapes and sizes
THE INCUBATOR Insulator is the most versatile insulator in the Strafe line-up and has become a trusted partner in the mountains for our athletes. We chose to fill the Incubator with Primaloft Gold because this synthetic insulation is incredibly lightweight, fast-drying, and most importantly, the warmth-to-weight ratio is hard to beat. The Incubator performs great as summit insulation, a warmer mid-layer on very cold days, or if you're like us, you'll wear it around town from October to May.

Love this jacket for wearing to/from work or around town even though I bought it as a mid layer for skiing. It’s fantastic for skiing but so much more. Love the floral print, the hood, the internal cuffs in stretchy material and the warmth. My favorite thing of all is that it’s a little longer than most mid layer jackets so it covers my bum keeping it warm too. It’s very flattering on and off the hill. I get many compliments on it! Highly recommend.
Thanks for the review!
I wear this jacket as a layer for the coldest days on the mountain and around town. It’s warm and versatile! My only complaint is that it’s slightly roomier than I’d like. I’m very petite and wear an XS, would be nice if it fit a little smaller
Thanks for the review and feedback, Riley!
Super happy with this as a base layer for cold ski days or to walk around town. I've received multiple compliments on the structure and look and the performance has been great as well!
I was originally looking for a good insulating layer for when I hike in the backcountry, and this definitely hits the mark! But one surprise about this jacket was the styling and details. I actually have been wearing this jacket around town too! The fit of the jacket is slimming and flattering, and it's just a tad longer than most of my insulating jackets- which I LOVE. It compacts nicely for backcountry tours, and functions just as you hope it would for a quick insulating layer. The fit and style is really just the cherry on top!
