I was looking to replace my 15 year old Rab goretex stretch pants which I wore out and then my son doubled down on - he loves these. And they are not full of crampon holes (yet) and are impressively waterproof. A solid week in the Tetons have shown their worth.

United StatesI bought these because they are sized very accurately for a 6'2'', 220lb skier. Not too baggy, not too tight. Fit just right. I have been using these pants throughout the winter for touring days and everything seemed perfect. Until I noticed the crotch was blown out while washing them one evening. It seems the stitching is very poor / very loosely stitched. Along with that, some of the fabric seems to have ripped around the stitching (perpendicular to the seam) I am not particularly hard on my ski gear and I buy it to last. My Mammut ski jacket is 8 years old, my Mountain hardwear insulated pants lasts 7 before i replaced them. There was an expectation that for the price these pants would have held up better.
